A landslide victory goes to The Book Thief by Markus Zusakus.
Tonight I am brushing the dust off my copy and will force myself to actually read it in its entirety this month. I've tried several times before, but there is just something that kept stopping me from completing it. I know it is a great book, every review I have read confirms this.
So here we go. Tonight I am cuddling up to a thief in my bed.

DeleteWow, I can't believe The Giver was on the list! I read that in 8th grade I think. I know for sure that I hated the ending though. I like my stories complete, ya know?

I loved The Giver!! but I agree, the ending was not what I was expecting. That being said, I hate when books are un-entertainingly predictable.
Deleteit is a very good book but i felt it was better placed in YA category, and i discovered it was originally. the story is very good, the metaphors are really over done.

They are doing about a book a month. Its fully of busy moms :)

OH. MY. GOSH. HG's are sooo good, right! I read them I guess almost 2 yrs now. SO GOOD. Even got the hubs to read them.
