Fusion Whirl Pinot Noir Wine Glasses (Set of 4) ~ A Review

The review that beats all other reviews.. An excuse to drink.

Last month, the Wine Enthusiast sent me : Fusion Whirl Pinot Noir Wine Glasses (Set of 4.)

Although I find the Fusion Whirl Pinot Noir Wine Glasses to be quite beautiful and elegant, I would personally save them for new company. Ya know, not the the wine-o friends you're used to getting wine drunk with, but the new company you may be pretending to be all classy for.

The glass and stem are both thin. The best way I can think to describe them would be to say that they are delicate, elegant, and they leave a lasting impression. They are perfect for formal dining, comfortable to hold, and unique. - Did I mention dishwasher safe too?! Score.

Ello Govna

MIA much?! 'Fraid so, but take a look at this BEAUTY!

Review to come. Just need to test it with a couple more bottles of wine to make certain that I do in deed absolutely think these are the most amazing wine glasses I have had the honor of toasting with. - From the Wine Enthusiast

The only lipstick you'll ever need {REVIEW}

I always look forward to trying out products and samples from bzzagent and was especially excited about the new Covergirl Blast FLipsticks. I was blessed with the absolute palest of lips, therefore I am a lipstick fiend!

I received: 820 Vixen. I really liked this one and I felt it was perfect for my skin tone. One dark pink and one light pink looks nice blended and I would buy this one for sure! The second is 840 Stunner. This one I feel like I can pull off, but barely. It is not something I would wear just because it was very orange-ish. Third is 855 Minx. Meh... Maybe if I had a darker complexion. Not sure if its good for my skin type, but it may work for you. What do you think? -------------------------------------------------->

Pro: They are definitely bold looking, Daring!
The various shades allows multiple looks all in the same day.
Easy to carry & convenient having two colors in one tube.
Fairly inexpensive compared to the other brands.
Versatile

Con: Must be mindful of lipstick rubbing onto your teeth.
Smudges easily.
Doesn't seem to last very long.

To sum up, I loved the color ranges, and the glitzy glam feel it brought to my makeup, but wish it would be a more permanent stay - and I'd even be happy with the staining at that point!

I would, and probably will, buy more because I am a lipstick junky! :)

Smelly Nelly?

As you probably know, I do product reviews from time to time.
[ see here ]
This week I received coupons (free) for
GLADE EXPRESSIONS Mist and Oil Diffuser to try out and review.

Oil Diffuser (Pineapple) Scent: Very strong the first couple of days. I placed this near our entryway, on a bookshelf.  By the next morning, I could smell it throughout the entire house! Over the next couple of days, it seems to have mellowed out a bit.

Appearance: Blends nicely in any type of room and with most decor.  I didn't expect to like the wood option that comes with the pineapple scent, but it really does look nice.

Ease of Use: Easy Peasy. Remove the wooden sides, pop the oil diffuser in the center then put the sides back on. Place pretty much anywhere and walk away.

Fragrance Mist (Cotton and Mandarin) Scent: Fresh, clean scent. The spray feature makes it so that you can use as little or as much as you need.

Appearance: Not horrendous- pretty streamline. Colors are relatively neutral (white and blue for mine- which goes perfectly with my guest bathroom decor.)

Ease of Use: I do love that it is a refillable cartridge, which cuts down on waste and price. Squeeze the sides instead of pushing down on the top as on most sprays.

Overall- I have had a positive experience with both products and I will be adding these to the list of things to send the Mr. in his care packages.

Feels so nice

As you may recall, I signed back up as a BzzAgent. I filled out my surveys, checked in regularly, and tried to keep my Bzz score high. Finally, I was emailed to participate in a few campaigns.
Right On!
I love stuff!!

Last week my Covergirl & Olay products arrived. Aesthetically, are attractive. I love the swirly look to the foundation/base bottle and I’m a sucker for purple.

[Moment of truth] Time to try the product.

Keep in mind that it has been years since I used Covergirl. I usually stick with Bareminerals or glo, which is another mineral makeup. I have not used liquid foundation since high school.

Wow. What a difference. The Tone Rehab 2-in-1 was so much smoother than I had expected. It was light and covered all my revolting blemishes without using a concealer for acne. Then I topped it off with the pressed powder provided and voila! A work of art. The perfect base.

-you should probably ignore the pissy look on my face as i try
to ignore the fifty plus questions coming from my daughter regarding why
i keep stopping to take a picture of myself-

oh and what do we have here? A butt load of $2 off coupons! Email me if you want one and I'll try my best to get it in the mail to ya.

ahem. mini personal disclaimer (because I'm not a sell out)

Coming soon to a blog near you...

Y'all I am SO excited to get this update! Not only will my first ever product review (on the blog) be here soon, I also have three other products waiting to be shipped. Would you think less of me if I squealed?! Ok, Ok, I'll try to control my excitement...

First up- Foundation and Pressed Powder from Covergirl & Olay
Second- Unreal™ Candy... ever heard of this? Get Unjunked ring a bell? Well, I am ecstatic about this one since I have an insatiable sweet tooth. They think it tastes better without the corn syrup, the artificial ingredients, and the partially hydrogenated oils.  Not to mention less sugar. I cant wait to try it out and calm my sugar crave in a healthier way.
Third up to bat- Dentyne Split2Fit. I dont know bout yall, but I always have gum in my car & in my bag. Always. So getting to try some new stuff out for free is a beautiful thing.
Fourth- NERF FireVision Sports. I have a little boy here who will be overjoyed to give this baby a whirl!

The Book Chat in Audio

Audio Books & I have a love hate relationship.  Some are fantastic. Some completely suck.

Its summer time, which for us means that it is also travel time! I often use the time spent in route to a new destination as a chance to catch up on a little light 'reading' if you will. Well, less reading and more popping in the ear buds and drowning out the 52000 questions my kids ask per hour.

In less than two weeks the minions and I are off to St. Louis, then out to rural Missouri for two weeks. During the flight I am excited to listen to the one and only, The Bloggess herself, Jenny Lawson- reading her new memoir Let's Pretend This Never Happened.

I am totally stoked about listening to this and surely laughing my ass off most of the flight! Ah, inappropriate humor just warms my heart all up like a gooey marshmallow.

In the past, I have listened to The Great Gatsby, by F. Scott Fitzgerald, Eat Pray Love, by Elizabeth Gilbert, American on Purpose: The Improbable Adventures of an Unlikely Patriot by Craig Ferguson and all of The Hunger Games

The Hunger Games were after I read the books & told my hubs to check them out. He rarely has time to sit and read anything so he just puts it on his iPod and goes on about his day listening to them while working in his office. He just loves audio books & seems to not care if others in the car have indeed already read the books.

Next on his list is A Song of Fire and Ice by R.R. Martin (The Game of Thrones)

My absolute favorite thus far has to be American on Purpose! How can you not adore Craig Ferguson and his cute Scottish accent?! So funny, so honest, so real. His honesty is both hilarious and saddening.

My least favorite has been Eat Pray Love. This could be because of the incredibly long boring car ride then topping it off with an incredibly whinny self indulged story that really wasn't all that great, entertaining, or enlightening. It kinda just sucked. Please don't hate me for saying that.
